The Air Jordan x Doernbecher Freestyle partnership by Nike Inc and the Doernbecher Children’s hospital is one of the most uniquely satisfying collaborations in sneaker culture today, in that we get some crazy colorways on some of our favorite silhouettes while also contributing to a cause larger than our average footwear purchases. We’ve gotten some great shoes in the past (some that have even seen unexpected re-releases like the Air Jordan III “Doernbecher”) and we recently got a sneak peek at the Air Jordan V “Doernbecher”. Today we get a more detailed look at the shoe, which features an all over text-print on a black upper while the inner lining pays tribute to its designer Isaac Wayne Arzate, who unfortunately passed away. Head to the gallery for more images and stay tuned for a release date.
