It’s always fun to see athletes and their sponsors deal with that athlete’s personal achievement whether it be an MVP or a championship despite not having the proper clearance to officially mention what they did. In the 1990s, Champion Athletics had the licensing to official NBA merchandise so you can imagine with all of Michael Jordan’s legendary accomplishments and accolades that Nike had a difficult time putting out celebratory Jordan gear. Today’s vintage item is a t-shirt from one of the Bulls’ 6 Championships, and while it’s hard to pinpoint which title it’s celebrating, a prediction for one of their first 3 championships might not be far off with the front adorning a Nike Air Logo. The shirt reads “Chicago World Champions” in bold writing while a black and white MJ dunks a ball that looks like the globe. You can head to the gallery to get a full glimpse of this rare piece and bid on it today from jetlifeinc on eBay.
