Michael Jordan was the most marketable athlete in the world back in his playing days which makes for some great vintage finds here and there. Today’s is surely an oddity as it represents his contract with Wilson athletics to market their basketballs, but features an unofficial Jumpman logo that was synonymous with Jordan Brand and his Nike shoes. You’ll notice that the logo is flipped and one leg is a little shorter than the other so Wilson wouldn’t be contractually obligated for copyright infringement as part of their special edition ‘Sky 23’ line of basketballs. It’s surely an oversight that wouldn’t have been able to happen today. Hit the jump for more images and pick up this exclusive piece of signed memorabilia today from champny02 on eBay.
