While Jordan Brand dominates sneakers today, there was a point in time when the Jumpman had some serious competition from the likes of Allen Iverson’s Reebok imprint. AI ushered in a new M.O. for basketball players in the early 2000s, and while his Reeboks are seeing retro releases, The Answer was recently spotted in the Jordan Melo M9 “Squadron Green”. It makes sense: he and Carmelo played in Denver together, but it’s still surprising to see players caught donning another brand’s shoe (we can’t forget about Dwyane Wade in the Air Jordan IV “Toro”). Hit the jump for a better look.
