After breaking his foot in his second year, Michael Jordan returned for the playoffs and opted to wear his Air Jordan 1 sneaker instead of the Air Jordan IIs against the Boston Celtics. Perhaps he needed a shoe with more padding and support, but the Air Jordan 1 he scored 63 points in had a minor difference: it featured the sole of the Nike Dunks. And while the pair he wore during the series was in a Bulls colorway, images recently surfaced of that same shoe in a UNC Tarheels poweder blue. Hit the jump for more photos of this vintage sample and if you have cash to spare pick them up today from agrade1 on eBay.
