Michael Jordan made some sly comments about coming back in the recent (must-read) “Michael Jordan Has Not Left the Building” piece, remarks made in reference to him returning to the game of basketball. An independent baseball club in the Chicago area, the Joliet Slammers, apparently wants him back on the diamond though, as the team announced an offer for MJ to join their ranks and “write the final chapter” in his career. The offer even included “a Loaded Luxury Suite for 23 people that includes all-you-can-eat and drink hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta salad, mustard potato salad, baked beans, cookies and Pepsi products for 90 minutes every game”. Let us know what you think of this outlandish proposal in the comments and stay tuned in the (very unlikely) event of Michael Jordan coming back to the baseball world.
