We don’t have to convince you that certain sneakers in the Air Jordan lineup are true works of art when you boil it down. Artist Sergio Garcia is aware of that potential too, taking his love of classic silhouettes (the Air Jordan III, Air Jordan V, and Air Jordan XIII to name a few) and transferring them to the canvas with using gun-powder on silkscreens. Click through for a video of Garcia explaining the process as well as some pics of his pop-art styled prints, and if you like what you see then head here to grab something from the so called ‘Heat’ series now.
