Considering this year’s Summer Games mark the 20th anniversary of MJ’s epic performance with the Dream Team in Barcelona, you had to expect Jordan Brand to celebrate the occasion with a couple special releases. As it turns out the celebration will run a little deeper than most folks probably would have guessed, with not only the ‘Gold Medal Pack’ on its way but also the ‘Olympic’ versions of both the Air Jordan VI and the Air Jordan VII set to drop. If you’ve got a reasonable memory for sneaker releases you’ll recall that we were treated to this same colorway just two short years ago, the difference being that the 2012 version will stay truer to the OG look, lacking the FLOTG branding on the back end. With the festivities in London drawing ever closer, we’ve got wind of a release date on this Olympic tie-in, July 21st to be exact. Check out the pricing break down below and stick with Jordans Daily for news on the upcoming Air Jordan VII ‘Olympic’ retro. via kixclusive/ISS
