The conference play portion of the college basketball season kicked off just before the ball dropped and we were treated with some good games before and after 2011 came to an end. Syracuse continued to assert their dominance in the NCAA as they made quick work of DePaul to keep extend their winning streak to 15 games and keep their #1 ranking. As is the case every year when these two teams play, Louisville and Kentucky didn’t fail to excite as Russ Smith and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist stole the show in Rupp Arena. In addition to the theatrics this past weekend, we saw a good range of sneaker heat such as Tony Wroten’s Air Jordan XI ‘Concord’ to the Jordan Fly Wade 2 and Jordan CP3.V player exclusives worn by Marquette and Cal respectively. Click through the gallery to see more of the kicks worn on the college hardwood and let us know what you think. via ESPN.
