The Air Jordan line was thought to have ended with the Air Jordan XX3, but Jordan Brand threw a curveball at the sneaker world by revealing that a 24th shoe was in development. The Air Jordan 2009 was the first Jordan signature shoe to be titled after the year rather than the number like previous Air Jordan’s. This particular sample comes in the traditional as well as familiar Chicago Bulls colorway, but was not released as Jordan Brand opted for other editions that ultimately did not do well at the retail level mainly due to price and color choices.
