The Golden State Warriors shocked the sports world when they eliminated the Dallas Mavericks from the 2007 NBA Playoffs in dramatic fashion and leaving us with the thought of Dirk Nowitzki possibly never winning it all. Fast forward to 2011 and Dirk has silenced his critics in addition to Mickael Pietrus being a member of the Orlando Magic. Where does Pietrus fit into this you ask? He was an important piece to that Warriors team that upset the Mavericks in the first round. During that series, the French import wore a player exclusive version of the Air Jordan V that is very similar to the ‘Metallic’ V, but features yellow accents on the shoe’s teeth, Jumpman, lacelocks and the embroidered number. This PE is indeed rare as Pietrus is a member of the Peak footwear roster and won’t be wearing any Jordans for the foreseeable future.
