Back in 2008, Jordan Brand released a slew of Air Jordan retros in the form of the Countdown Pack. Among the retros that made an appearance at retail were the Air Jordan VII ‘Hare’ which were retroed for the first time since 1992. However, there was a possibility that we’d still be waiting for a ‘Hare’ VII retro if this Air Jordan VII sample was in the 7/16 pack instead. This CDP VII sample features a Retro+ colorway as did the other packs that channels JBs colors of white, red and black. Defining elements of this AJ VII include the pearlized upper as well as as the mismatched outriggers. Would this version of the Air Jordan VII been a better choice than the ‘Hare’ VII?
