The Air Jordan XIVs timeless design can be credited to the Ferrari F355F1 of which it was inspired by when Tinker Hatfield created this classic. Its final year of production was 1999 which was around the same time that Michael Jordan retired for the second time. Michael’s affinity for cars was transferred onto his feet and like the Ferrari, he was a high performing beast and came in the clutch when it mattered. Jordan had owned the F355F1 and every time he wore the Air Jordan XIV it was as if he brought the car on court with him as the Jordan emblem mimics the Ferrari logo and the side vents of the vehicle are visible in the midsole.
