Following his arrival to the NBA, Michael Jordan was undecided on a shoe contract until Sonny Vaccaro convinced him to sign with Nike and would go on to put the company in a position it has yet to relinquish. To pay Michael back for what he had done, Nike constructed the Michael Jordan Building which house memorabilia of Michael that he himself wore throughout his career. Many of the shoes that Nike has on display are autographed or game worn or in some cases, both. They include the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan IV ‘Cement’, Air Jordan V ‘Grape, Air Jordan VI ‘Infrared and Air Jordan VII ‘Hare’.
