Michael Jordan, a Make-A-Wish Foundation Chief Wish Ambassador, presented a $100,000 contribution during the 2011 Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational at Shadow Creek. Michael Jordan’s golf tournament has raised over $5 million for charity since 2001, including $455,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation since 2009. Jordan granted the wish of 16-year-old Marc Garcia who requested to meet his idol. During the tournament, Jordan wore a pair of Air Jordan III’s intended for golf use. They feature a lower cut with a design similar to that of the AJ 3 and while the cleats aren’t exactly the III, its clear that these were designed with the iconic pair of Jordan’s in mind. Check out additional images of Michael and his cleats and let us know what you think about one of Jordan’s many exclusives. Photos via SN
