Chris Rock’s excursion to Stadium Goods with the Complex Sneaker Shopping crew was more than just picking up a few fresh pairs of kicks. The legendary comedian let loose some stories from his storied career, most notably the time Michael Jordan hosted Saturday Night Live on September 28, 1991. Rock was a cast member on the show at the time, and related how Jordan tried to join a cast group of Rock, Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, and David Spade for a quick bite to eat but couldn’t. Fresh off his first NBA championship win, Jordan was simply too big a star to venture with the gang to the local McDonald’s.
