Jordan Brand set the bar high in 2016 with the Pinnacle lineup. This new standard of luxury within its retro ranks opened the door to top shelf leather, real gold details, and a high price tag to match. Air Jordan 5 “Take Flight” checks all of those boxes.
With the new luxe focus comes a deconstructed look, as the AJ5 has been stripped of its plastic lace ports and translucent side vents. Even the midsole gets a makeover with a molded leather finish. Then there’s the packaging. True to Tinker Hatfield’s original vision for Air Jordan 5, the Take Flight 5 comes with a fighter plane-inspired shark teeth bag and premium shoe box.
