85th MLB All Star Game

Derek Jeter‘s baseball career ended in 2014, but will pick back up as “Captain” of Jordan Brand’s baseball and training category.

The retired New York Yankees great will helm the RE2PECT signature line, with apparel and footwear set to debut in Jordan retail stores in spring 2017.

Jeter’s new duties include not only serving as tone-setter for the division, but also as a creative director of sorts for product, and collaborator with Jordan Brand Sports Marketing and Michael Jordan to hand-pick baseball athletes to represent the brand.

“I am thrilled to continue my relationship with the Jordan Brand,” said Jeter via Jordan Brand. “I spent my entire baseball career trying to be the best player I could be and I am excited to help the next generation reach that goal through Jordan Training and Baseball.”
