Is the Jordan T4G a hoops shoe? A cross-trainer? Yes. A vague affirmative but this is a vague shoe, one that hit shelves in 2006 in various colorways, and presented Jordan fans and curious passersby with a laceless option to get those workouts done. No laces, so what’s keeping these on your feet but two fat straps – one that doubles back across the midfoot and one around the ankle secured with a snap button. You could say the T4G was an extension of the floating strap Air Jordan XX that debuted the previous year. Probably right. Or you could say it was pretty much a shoe no one wanted. Also probably right. But you can keep an eye on what few used pairs still exist on eBay, and stay tuned for the next Daily Jordan.
