Over the next few weeks you should start seeing ads beckoning you to think about the ever encroaching Christmas shopping season. No good if you have a lot of people to buy for, or worse – you have no idea what to get anyone. Yet it’s a great time if you’re looking forward to the Christmas holiday Air Jordan release, which usually never arrives soon enough. This year, Jordan Brand has the Air Jordan 11 done up in a new format to honor Michael Jordan’s historic 1995-96 championship run, which saw the Chicago Bulls rack up a record 72-10 regular season and MJ another MVP award. The shoe’s execution is simple – black tumbled leather, translucent patent, red touches, white soles – but effective. These definitely would’ve been at home on MJ’s feet during the ’96 playoffs. But since we can’t zoom back 19 years to give him a pair, you’ll have to do the rocking when December 19th rolls in. Find more shots of the Air Jordan 11 “72-10” below and stay tuned for more updates.
