One of the most well-received non-original colorways of the last decade, Air Jordan 10 in White/Obsidian-Ice-Blue-Varsity Red released to solid demand when they hit shelves on June 11, 2005 at $125.

Though Jordan Brand has never really marketed retros in the traditional sense, the Ice Blues received a nice advertising plug when some of the 2005 North Carolina Tar Heels – notably Raymond Felton, Jawad Williams, and Jackie Manuel – won the NCAA mens championship that April wearing them, putting the sneakers on a national stage a good two months ahead of the release date. The exposure also didn’t hurt the hype build for the Air Jordan 10 “Steel” original colorway that hit shelves a bit earlier on May 7, 2005.

These days the Ice Blues can be found in deadstock condition with a bit of patient searching. This particular pair is available through eBay seller christoten but more sizes can be found here. If you have or wear your Ice Blue 10s, make sure to post photos of them with the hashtag #jordansdaily. Be sure to check out more photos below and watch for the next Daily Jordan.
