The return of the lows. Air Jordan 6 Low “Chrome” is back this summer after a 13-year hiatus. First released on April 27, 2002, these revamped the AJ6 as a lowtop and helped start the black/silver colorway trend that was amplified big time the following year when the Air Jordan 8 “Chrome” released to rave reviews (A shoe that’s also returning – 12/12/15, $190.) But, slight differences between the releases – the ’02 featured Durabuck, while the ’15 goes with the more suede-like nubuck. The ’02 was $105, the ’15 is $170. The Chrome colorway will be preceded by the Air Jordan 6 Low “Infrared” on July 4, 2015. And the Oreo Low is lurking as well. Find the latest images of the AJ6 Low “Chrome” below and stay tuned for more coverage.
