The 1991 cartoon series ProStars only lasted 13 episodes but its legacy may receive a tidy refresh from this Son of Mars Low.

The hybrid shoe featuring design cues primarily from Air Jordans 3, 4, 5 and 6 carries a “Pro Stars” nickname after the kids show that starred an animated Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, and Bo Jackson helping kids and defeating villains. Though the exact inspiration for the colorway hasn’t yet been revealed, it’s a fair bet there’s a tie-in with the grey, red, and green somewhere.

This colorway looks an awful lot like the Air Jordan 5 releasing June 6th that’s been tagged with Space Jam movie poster inspiration. (As always, feel free to switch in your own nickname.) Barring any delays, as Nike has been wont to do lately, release for the SoML “Pro Stars” is currently slated for June 10th.
