Air Jordan’s 30th anniversary celebration this year not only features some well-loved sneakers like the Air Jordan 7, 11 Low and 20, but also special colorways that recognize Michael Jordan’s history. Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” is a prime example of this move, dressed in black, white and orange to mimic a uniform Michael Jordan wore as he shattered the backboard in a 1985 exhibition basketball game. Inside on the insole, a graphic of the rim and shards of broken glass rounds out the theme. You’ll be able to pick this release up at retail on May 23rd.
