Black Sheep Skate Shop of Charlotte, North Carolina has previewed an upcoming sneaker with an inspiration that ties together various elements just about as smoothly as any we’ve seen. This Nike SB Dunk incorporates a nod to the original Air Jordan V White/Grape Ice-New Emerald colorway from 1990, the 30th anniversary of both the Air Jordan and Nike Dunk line, a shout to the “Black Grape” V released in June 2013, and a salute to the Michael Jordan-owned Charlotte Hornets.
This version takes the Black Grape tact, with black nubuck finish, purple and teal highlights, and clear mesh synthetic paneling. Check the preview look here and we’ll have more on this release as it comes.
