Though 2000 seems ages ago (it pretty much is), from time to time sneakers will pop up in the sneakersphere that make it feel like it was just yesterday. One of them is this Air Jordan 1 High sample from that very year. You noticed the “Japan” tagging in the title and that’s no mistake. This particular combo is an alternate version of the white and navy AJ1 that dropped exclusively in Japan on August 13, 2001. We’ll spoil your Google search to find the differences between the sample and release versions – the sample has a jeweled Jordan Wings logo on the ankle, the release has a navy blue printed Wings logo. It’s probably really not a good idea to wear them but if you want to add this rarity to your collection, it’s up for grabs now from netmagnetism via eBay.
