Despite the near universal appeal and approval of Air Jordan 11 “Concord,” they aren’t seen regularly on NBA courts. Chalk that up to players preferring newly designed sneakers or just not wanting the responsibility of wearing such an iconic shoe. But every so often an Alan Anderson or James Johnson plays Icarus to Michael Jordan’s footwear sun, and they lace up the Concords to the delight of sneaker watchers like us.
Alan Anderson wore his Concords last night for the second time in a week, putting up 11 points off the bench in the Nets’ 123-111 road win over the Pacers. Key victory for the Nets as they try to climb back into the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
