Ever since David Stern made the controversial, iron-fisted ruling of a dress code in the NBA, players have jumped from throwbacks and jeans to the world of high fashion. Russell Westbrook has been at the forefront of that movement thanks to a flare for the original whether it be prints or patterns, or a unique silhouette. His motto of “Why Not?” extends quite literally onto his sometimes outlandish fashion choices, but it’s gotten him here – to a point where he can collaborate with Barneys NYC through Jordan Brand for the Westbrook-XO-Barneys series. With an array of vibrant all-over elephant print themed pieces showcasing a new gradient, the Jordan Shine is expected to arrive a little early as well. Be sure to check out some stills of the collection, set to release July 17th at Barneys New York locations, in our gallery and let us know if you’re excited for any of the pieces in this collaboration by penning your thoughts in the comments.
