Another Look at the Air Jordan 1 Retro 99 “Black Toe”

The Air Jordan 14 references are going to be quite abundant in the coming months as the retro was a surprising addition to the 2014 line up. With four retros planned to hit retailers, it was only right for Jordan Brand to give the sneaker an Air Jordan 1 hybrid as they’ve been doing for plenty of past releases. This Air Jordan 1 Retro 99 is rather interesting because it pairs Mike’s first sneaker with his last in a Chicago Bulls uniform, completing the cycle so to speak. The latest “Black Toe” reference does the pair justice even with the midsole teeth missing. With the side panels getting perforations to mimic the fourteenth silhouette, the white base is contrasted with a black toe, heel, and tongue. What do you think?
