Air Jordan 1 Retro ’99: “Black Toe”

Jordan Brand has been all about using the Air Jordan 1 as a canvas to reference whatever current retro is about to drop, so why not combine the Air Jordan 14 with Mike’s first signature to give us a more than original creation? We’ve seen previews of the Air Jordan 1 Retro 99 before, but now we get a glimpse of the latest colorway, a “Black Toe” Air Jordan 14 reference that definitely does the original justice thanks to the side panels getting perforations and ventilation to reference Mike’s last championship sneaker. The tongue and toebox are drenched in black to give the sneaker its name  while gym red accents hit on the heel and tongue. What do you think?
