Sneaker art usually comes in the form of a customized shoe but artists like Dave White have paved the way for sneakers on the canvas. Chicago based artist Koca Monarchy drew inspiration from the Air Jordan VIII ‘Aqua’ of which Michael Jordan wore during the 1993 All-Star Game for his latest piece. The artist perfectly captures the essence of the Aqua VIII from the midsole streaks all the way to the strap of which he customized to feature his pseudonym. Take another look at the painting after the jump and let us know what you think. via KocaMonarchy.
