One of the more surprising storylines of Jordan Brand’s 2014 thus far has been the reintroduction of the Air Jordan 2 into the retro mix. After all, MJ’s slept on second signature hadn’t seen a store shelf since 2010, but that all changed when the “Infrared 23” Air Jordan 2 arrived at retailers this past weekend. The new hues won’t stop there either as a Dark Concord scheme has been floating around along with a vintage Toronto Raptors inspired aesthetic. Now we get one of the best looks yet at one of the earlier samples in the Air Jordan 2 “Nightshade”. Featuring a dark obsidian base, the sneaker gets plenty of help from accents like a black midsole speckled with volt while pure platinum hits the sole. What do you think about the wave of new Air Jordan 2 colorways we will be seeing in the coming months?
