In 1997, Jordan seceded from the Swoosh and became its own brand of athletic apparel, but at the time, it was an accomplishment to see a team shoe instead of a signature Jordan sneaker. Fast forward to today and the brand occupies nearly all areas of footwear, having branched out to trainers, an upcoming runner in the Jordan Flight Runner, and the casual lifestyle look of the Jordan Future. Now the Jordan Shine is on the horizon, aiming to occupy a luxury niche thanks to an all leather Air Jordan 1-esque upper with woven side panels. With a $400 price tag, this will be the most expensive single shoe release in Jordan history and as of right now the only confirmed retailer to stock them is Barney’s. Today we get a detailed look at the luxurious silhouette in the all red colorway so be sure to stick around after the click to get a better look at the Jordan Shine courtesy of Sneaker News and let us know if you plan on grabbing a pair once they hit retailers.
