Wheaties has had a long-standing history of putting athletes on the front of their cereal boxes (in fact, the early morning staple has been the “Breakfast of Champions” since Lou Gehrig was featured on the box back in 1934). But can you guess who has the most cereal boxes in the history of the brand? Michael Jordan tops the list with a total of 18, so it was only right for Nike and Wheaties to collaborate on a t-shirt to mark one of the more famous occasions as a give away with a purchase of a box of cereal (the one that featured MJ soaring to the hoop in all of his Jordan ‘Flight’ gear in that Air Jordan 5 “Grape” colorway). Apparently the shirt was also sold in stores, since today’s vintage gear is a red version of the tee complete with the tag still attached that features a cartoon on the front complete with toast popping out of the toaster.
