Jordan Brand recently made news by paying homage to Michael Jordan’s brief foray on the baseball diamond with two upcoming “Birmingham Baron” colorways atop the Air Jordan 9 and Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG respectively. And while those releases won’t hit retail shelves until later this year, customizer Sole Swap couldn’t wait any longer as he took the stylings of everyone’s favorite Air Jordan 11 and covered it in a Chicago White Sox colorway by taking the black upper and detailing it with a white Jumpman logo, swapping out the ’23’ stitching with a ’45’. The patent leather gets a matte grey treatment to match the Sox away uniforms as well, but perhaps the most obvious callout here is the insole featuring a White Sox logo on each heel. What do you think of this latest custom look? Hit the gallery for more images and stay tuned for more “Birmingham Barons” sneaker updates in the future.
