The Air Jordan 1 has served as the base for a hybrid for some time now, but one Air Jordan mash-up you probably forgot about was the Air Jordan 5 detailing atop MJ’s first signature in the form of the Jordan Prime 5. The return of the sneaker in 2014 is a surprising addition to the Jordan catalogue, especially considering 2013 was the Air Jordan 5’s 23rd anniversary in which we saw more than enough colorways hit retailers and then disappear shortly afterwards. Today we get a look at the latest colorway, a simple black with a clear mesh side panel replacing the Swoosh branding to mimic the Air Jordan 5. Be sure to view more of the brand new edition of the Jordan Prime 5 in the gallery and let us know what you think about its unlikely return to store shelves in 2014 in the comments.
