Earlier in the week, Jordan Brand unveiled the Jordan Melo M10. The shoe signifies Carmelo Anthony’s tenth season with the Jumpman, joining the likes of Derek Jeter and Ray Allen as the only three athletes to be with the brand for over a decade. And while Jeter and the man also known as Jesus Shuttlesworth have had quite some success, neither of them have had ten signature sneakers with the brand like Melo now does. The tenth installment, designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, features some hi-tech features while also paying homage to Melo’s past with a back heel support that features that cursive ‘Melo’ logo that has been included with the Carmelo line since the beginning. In what Tinker dubbs to be one of the best basketball sneakers ever designed, there’s a lot of expectations with this silhouette. Sneaker News recently gave a brief history of each of Carmelo Anthony’s kicks, so hit the gallery for full images of each sneaker, and head over here to read the entire article.
