Congratulations are in order for Chris Paul, as the Clippers’ All-Star broke Magic Johnson’s long-standing record of consecutive double-doubles to start a season. The mark was set during the 1990-91 season when Magic took off running on an 11-game streak of scoring over 10 points and notching 10 assists in each match up. Paul recently outdid the legend while visiting the Timberwolves, as he scored 20 and added 11 dimes, but the really impressive stat is comparing the two Los Angeles teams – where the Lakers were a lukewarm 6-5, CP3 and his squad sit at 8-4. So nice work, Chris! Be on the lookout for all his footwear selections for his brand new Jordan CP3.VII in our recurring Jordans On Court recaps and look for his name in MVP talks throughout the season if he keeps this streak up.
