If you caught the Miami Heat taking on the Chicago Bulls last night, then you might have seen Ray Allen strolling around the perimeter in a gold plated Air Jordan 11 player exclusive that could possibly rank as one of the better one-offs in the shoe’s storied history. Ray, who saved the Heat’s season with a Game 6 three-pointer that took the game into an unlikely overtime, laced up the white cordura upper with red accents and Jumpman branding in the season opener, but the real draw here is the signature Air Jordan XI patent leather strip which shines in a metallic gold to mimic the Larry O’Brien trophy. Sneaker News recently grabbed the exclusive on the shoe, which features an onslaught of features including a ’34’ back heel stitching and inner lining patches commemorating Ray’s two titles (the first with the Celtics in 2008). Hit the gallery to see some of the images from the feature and head over to Sneaker News to grab the whole article.
