The Air Jordan V continues to grow in numbers with another colorway expected to his retail shelves in the form of the Air Jordan V “Black Laney”. We saw a similar situation earlier this summer when the coveted Air Jordan V “Grape” was unexpectedly given an ominous ‘Away’ makeover in the form of the Air Jordan V “Black Grape” and now the same can be said about Jordan’s alma-mater. The shoe gets an all black look while an inverted midsole sees that bright varsity maize take over while royal blue is delegated to the speckled shark teeth. A crest can also be seen in lieu of the ’23’ stitching that looks strikingly similar to Laney High’s compass logo, but is altered just enough to not officially honor the school. So what do you think of the new Air Jordan 5 “Black Laney”? Stay tuned for more release information and pick up this pair today from ajaddiction on eBay.
