The Air Jordan Doernbecher series has brought us some great shoes along with some inspiring stories, but the Air Jordan V “Doernbecher” hits particularly close to home after its designer Isaac Wayne Arzate passed away. The all black upper sports an all over print of grey phrases that aren’t currently legible while Isaac’s initials and dates of birth and death rest on the inner lining of the tongue. A number 9 replaces the regular ’23’ on this Air Jordan V towards the back of the shoe and although we don’t have a date down for release quite yet the shoe looks to be slated for a November release. Head to the gallery for more images of Isaac’s design.
