Drafted in 1997 by the Cleveland Cavaliers, Derek Anderson proved himself in college at Kentucky to be a formidable guard with the agility to slash to the basket and make plays reminiscent of a number 23 at North Carolina, so it made sense when he signed to Jordan Brand when he entered the league sharing the same number as MJ. Although the comparisons never panned out, Derek did fulfill the role as a respectable bench player and ended his career with a number of enticing Air Jordan PEs. Today we get a look at a 2003 Air Jordan III while Derek was with the Trail Blazers, meaning he could lace up any Chicago colorway he pleased. This edition sees the midsole hit with half fire red, half white while the signature cement colored elephant print does the rest of the work. Head to the gallery for a full look and let us know where this ranks in your favorite customs.
