The shoe takes the colorway of Mike’s Laney High School in which he infamously didn’t make the varsity squad, only to hone his skills playing JV and become the greatest player to ever touch the hardwood. While the exact details of the story have since been argued, there’s no disputing that the simplicity of the white leather upper resting upon a royal blue midsole with accents of yellow makes for a classic sneaker.
