Jordan Brand’s roots are in basketball but they have ventured into baseball, football as well as track and field. One of their athletes, April Holmes, a paralympic, won the bronze medal in the women’s long jump F44/46 event at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Greece and the gold medal in the 100m-T44 event at the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing. Holmes was on hand at Jordan Brand HQ where she received her own custom made track spikes in addition to apparel to hit the track with. Holmes’ accomplishments have served as inspiration for athletes with disabilities in not just the United States but around the world. Check out additional pictures of her gear after the jump and stick with Jordans Daily for all Jordan related news.
