The name on this one really says it all, as the Jordan V.9 Grown is a sneaker that aims for a bit more of a classy look, shaving off many of the crazy design elements so significant of 90’s basketball shoes. This Jordan has a more unified feel, with a smooth upper that is interrupted only momentarily by the stitching connected the three paneled design. The leather on the above pair definitely furthers the feeling of “grown”, making it the kind of shoe you wouldn’t mind hitting with some shine every now and then. Of course the Air Jordan heritage is still ingrained in these, the general shape being reminsicent of the Air Jordan 2, the cement print on the outsole reminding us of the Air Jordan 3, and finally the classic wings logo on the midsole that first popped up on the Air Jordan 1. These two new colorways of the Jordan V.9 Grown should reach Jordan Brand retailers near you this coming August. Hit the jump to get a look at the full gallery and decide which one is for you.
