The Air Jordan VI ‘Lakers’ released in May 2010, but like many sneakers was heavily altered than the original sample. The unreleased sample pair features the entire upper being constructed of nubuck rather than the combination of reflective 3M and nubuck on the released pair. Additionally, the sample features a sole that is less translucent than what was released at retail. The gradient stitching still remains throughout the sneaker but on the heel the ‘AIR’ is yellow instead of yellow, white and purple on the final version.  Take a look at the additional images of the rare sample in the gallery below and if you want them be prepared to break the bank for these over at cigar0330 on eBay.
