As far as numbers MJ donned on his jersey the 9 is probably the one he spent the least time in, obviously nowhere near as attached to his legacy as the 23 or the post-retirement 45. Yes it was this number that he rocked during the Dream Team’s historic performance at the 1992 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona, and it was these sneakers he rocked-the Air Jordan VII ‘Olympic’. The pair is coming back around 20 years after the fact, with a retro release on tap for July 21st.
