Sneaker customization is nothing new in the sneaker community as it has been done for years, a hobby that some have turned it into a career. Jordans are just one of the many sneakers that receive the custom treatment, which actually goes against the wishes of Jordan aficionados. This Air Jordan IX custom takes inspiration from the Air Jordan VIII ‘Playoff’, which last released in December 2007; the artist used the Air Jordan IX White/Metallic Silver as the base for the job, and painted the upper entirely black, with the midsole being done all the way to the graphic to match the midsole of the ‘Playoff’ VIII.
