The name says it all when it comes to the Air Jordan 2.0. Instead of releasing another retro colorway, the designers at Jordan have revamped the classic with a 360 Max Air midsole. Very seldom does a sequel stay so true to the original. The Air Jordan 2.0 looks like a concept shoe that Marty McFly would have worn had there been a basketball scene in Back to the Future: Part II alongside his self-tying high top Nikes . These sneakers feature a white upper, varsity red midsole and piping, along with black laces and lining, yet it’s the varsity red polyurethane midsole that gives the sneaker its contemporary appeal. This sneaker effortlessly bridges the gap between 1986 and 2011, which most will agree in this case is quite welcome. These may not tie themselves but you can get yours in the not too distant future; the Air Jordan 2.0 is due to release on May 28, 2011. via Sneakeresource
