We recently gave you a heads up on a move made by Michael and co. in an effort to preserve the sanctity of the Air Jordan legacy. That move was a lawsuit against Chinese company Qiaodan, who have been allegedly misappropriating the Jordan name to their own products overseas in an attempt to cash out on the house that Michael built. Apparently the fraudulent goods have managed to make quite an impression, with a reported 90% of their customer base believing that they are purchasing authentic Jordan Brand items. The latest development in the case is a positive one, as Chinese courts have accepted the trademark lawsuit. There’s no doubt that MJ has quite the legal team behind him, so we’re optimistic about a positive result and a precedent being set. As always, stick with Jordans Daily for additional info as the story continues. via Huffington Post/MSNBC
